Tomorrow, I’m off to Seattle to the International Festival of Improvisation. This is my third trip; the first was in 2006 and the second in 2009.

In my mind, I’ll always link this blog to that first trip in 2006; I created hamblog about the same time — even though I had been writing sporadically before that, this is the time I told myself I would be a blogger.

Which means that this is also the approximate 5th year anniversary of hamblog! Holy crap!

I am bringing a minimum of electronic devices with me, and I am going to be very busy, so I am going to do a little front-end writing, so that I can be sure to feed the Gods of Postaday 2011. If I get a chance, I’ll check in and say hi from my grimy little Seattle hostel. Well, hopefully not too grimy; I’m going to assume they fixed the little bedbug problem from a couple years ago. Urk!
