buddy gonna shut you down
The latest bandwagon on which I’m jumping is simple, relatively painless, and very short term: I intend to live without my computer for 24 hours tomorrow, March 24.
I mean, what the hey. I have a rare, insanely busy social schedule tomorrow (two birthday parties for four people? eh wot?) and my hand has been bothering me a bit (as I have had to touchpad it during my graphic tablet woes), so really: no skin off my ass.
Yet I am nervous! I have not gone more than maybe a day or so without the laptop and the wifi and the Bloglines and the timewasting deliciousness of it all. Wish me luck! See you Sunday.
Wow! This reminds me of a family friend who stayed at our house every time he came to Norway (related to my fathers work – the friend was from Texas). Every time, he came with a big bottle of Scotch – also called “my baby”. LoL. Once I asked my father if he thought his friend couldn’t stay away from the scotch. My father replied: I don’t think he wants to try.
You’ve tried. How are you doing? I don’t know if I should support you and back you up on your efforts or not. If you like it too much, I’ll see less of you!!!
