Diary Entry: December 7, Age 17
As part of my Advent Calendar project, I am presenting excerpts from my actual teenage diaries!
Ronnie came over to my house, and we totally munched out and hung around. Then it was time to go to play rehearsal and I rehearsed, saw Dane, who has regressed again to his old self, but had occasional flashes of niceness. I guess.
It’s only 9pm but I’m already in bed, trying to do homework and killing time. I’m not tired but it’s an extremely cold and blowy night and I’ll be damned if I’m going to do anthing but lay here, keep warm, and think about the Clash.
.
Hey girl, love your blog. Had great fun tonight eating yummy steak and talking girl talk. Would you believe me if I told you I had two Ronnies in my life in High School? Yep, and I still stay in touch with them. Anyways, we gotta get together and craft! (You and me, not the Ronnies 😉
There’s nothing more *to do* on a cold and blowy night but think about the Clash.
I’m TOTALLY loving your advent calendar!
Love the xmas tunes link. I actually used to have the Liberace one… on vinyl, of course. If you’ve not yet done so, you MUST check out the Liberace Museum next time you find yourself in Vegas. Fab.
Oh, Becky! I’m so bowled over by your advent calendar that I’m actually posting instead of emailing you. (I just checked my aol mail today, so I’m catching up.) No wonder you want to read your diary entries in public. They are perfect in so many ways.
holy crap .. it’s a christmas miracle — my number one lurker has POSTED! god bless us every one — and tamar!
Becky, I just have to comment on the shining baby oil cake! I talked to a photographer once who is shooting food professionally. She told me that they got the best shine – not from using baby oil, but from castor oil! You said yurg. I see you on the yurg and throw in a blime me!
