um, thanks!
This craft store sent me one of their many, many emails today:
Am I just Monday-touchy, or is there something a little weird about this? I mean, I appreciate a militant craft stance, but wishing my summer to be crafty above all else, including my personal safety, seems a bit much.
Then, when I saved this graphic, I noticed that they named it “094111_Email_Carmaggedon_02.jpg.”
Carmaggedon, if you care, was the oh-so-witty name of the closure a part of the 405 freeway in Los Angeles this past weekend. Massive disaster was predicted, as the 405 is a major travel artery. Aaaand … not much went down. In fact, we (fearlessly!) drove right by the 101/405 interchange yesterday and the 405 was reopened early, traffic was moving, rivers of blood were nowhere to be found.
There’s a big fat conspiracy connection here, between craft and cars and danger, but I’m too relaxed from a fantastic weekend to care.
I find it even more odd that the sender didn’t spell her name correctly in her signature.
