As part of my Advent Calendar project, I am presenting excerpts from my actual teenage diaries!

Tomorrow’s Christmas. Can’t quite believe it. All those preparations, all those plans. Whew. I’m eager to get at all those presents. A little of that happy anticipation has returned. I was thinking maybe I’m not as adult as I thought I was, but I realize that everyone, no matter how old, has a little childness in them.

Tonight was really fun. We played Scotch Whist, Poker, and a mess of other things. And I laughed, talked, and ate a lot. But LAUGHED the most.

PS Mick Jagger has a beard. Ugh.
