red letter day

Good news all over the place today.

My e-friend Pollyanna Cowgirl is a guest blogger over at ReadyMade, holy crap! She is a talented Etsy girlie, to boot.

My friend Rodney’s documentary got boingboinged today. [definition of “getting boingboinged” here]

Me, well, I just found out both my Junk and Science quilts got accepted into the exhibit “Becoming Art at the Seams: Contemporary and Art Quilts” at the Ventura County Museum.

My friend Christine just got a puppy and I got to tag along for the puppy pickup and squeeze a whole lot of cuteness:

So that’s some good stuff, right there.

What’s your good news? I want to hear it — big or small or even made up!

I made it to Descanso gardens, on time, with toddling twins, for a playdate. They played with water bottles and leaves. We saw Canadian geese. It was good times.

Initially I read, “My EX-friend Pollyanna Cowgirl is a guest blogger over at ReadyMade, holy crap!” And I thought, ‘Wow, you’re quite magnanimous when it comes to your enemies.’

Then I read further on and discovered my error. And yet I still think you would make a groovy enemy.

Congrats on the quilts, that’s awesome Becky!

Hmm, my good news. Mentally I’m feeling pretty good today because the sun is shining brightly. It’s 8 degrees but the sun is on high volume, so that’s good. I also made banana bread and it’s very tasty.
