I really like the Awesome! blog, and not just ’cause I am on it! I sent in my favorite links without really thinking hard about them. Otherwise, of course, I would have included all of you, my sweeties! Why don’t you go ahead and submit your own?

I am having a most vexing time bending the blogging software I use to my will. Great scripts, but lacking user-friendly documentation with the plugins. I can’t figure out the date-manipulation feature, nor the calendar or comments scripts. Sad face. A plea to my many readers: any ideas? Please: no suggestions of myspace or vox or other tightly controlled communities [i must ride hard and die free!] I’d really like to keep it on my webserver but am willing to consider giving over to a third party if it has enough bells and whistles to distract me and make me clap like a baby. Alternately, if anyone wants to help me with some [probably incredibly simple] CGI, let me know. Doesn’t that sound like fun?
