hambox advent thank you!

So many thanks so many people that have found and created and amassed and enjoyed the delights that I have linked to over the course of the 2008 Hambox Advent Calendar. I loved the collaborative spirit and plan to do it again next year, so put your thinking caps on and start collecting those links!

The 2007 and 2008 calendars will be online until January 31, so enjoy them till then!

great big extra special thank yous

  • Leslie Harpold. She created several year’s worth of online advent calendars (as well as being a gifted writer and blogger). The calendars were lovely and inspirational and sadly online no longer. Leslie passed away December 2006.
  • Gillian — her scans of a vintage advent calendar were featured images for many of the hambox calendar dates. She very kindly granted permission to use them. They are perfect.
  • Regina Rivera — not only did she rock out the “Winter Tea” screensaver, she offered up a fab flickr account giveaway in the name of nurturing creativity. Whoa. Hope you got everything you ever wanted in your stocking this year, Ms. RR!
  • Stacy Martin and Roger Freedman tirelessly hunted down and brought fresh hot links to my door many, many times. Thanks guys!
