Quilt Pin Art

Some of you may know that I hate quilt pins. They are big and strong and mean and sharp. Bullies of the pin world. But how can I resist quilt pin art? I’ll just admire it from way over here, that’s all. This is Oil Spill by Lisa Kellner. Found on Craft:.

I’ve grown up with homemade quilts – I had two growing up. The first was all pinks and greens to go with my room then when my room was redecorated when I was about 14 my Mum made a fab blue and white o that had dolphin themed ๐Ÿ˜€

I now have an amazing white, cream and gold one that my Mum made for mine and my husbands first Christmas – I adore it even if he thinks it’s old fashioned lol.

I’m not sure if my Mum still has access to my others as they are up in the loft but I’ll take a picture of the Christmas one ๐Ÿ™‚ Might also be able to take some photos of other ones my Mum has made – she is one talented lady ๐Ÿ™‚

Those quilts blow my mind. I helped make my first one; a friendship quilt. Turns out I can’t sew, but I can iron-on like a pro.
